Hi anonymous...
Great to see u again in this blogs. Thanks for visiting.
Recently, many brand new laptops provided with SATA hard disk drive. Common problems with brand new laptop is it can't be installed with Microsoft Windows® XP for any version. This is caused by SATA hard disk drive that are not detected by Microsoft Windows® XP installation CD. SATA hard disk drive needs special driver that you must install before continue formatting your Microsoft Windows® XP. (For more information, read my previous articles in this blogs about "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer").
For those who are willing to buy a brand new laptop, please make sure you buy it with OEM pre-installed Microsoft Windows® Vista Home Basic or Home Premium or Vista Ultimate. You still can install Microsoft Windows® XP in your brand new machine but make sure you have hardware driver for Microsoft Windows® XP which you can download from your laptop manufacturer's websites. Ask your computer reseller either your brand new laptop can be installed with Microsoft Windows® XP or not.
